Dr. Shear is a perfectionist. He pays great attention to detail and really, you're not done until *he's* done. But when he's happy with the work he did to your mouth I promise, *you* will be happy. He is a total wizard with that $#@! Cavitron, far better than anyone else that's ever worked on my mouth. He's been my periodontist for 20+ years. Under his guidance my dentition has improved tremendously. Medical specialists are not inexpensive but there comes a time when we reach a certain age and we need their guidance. Dr. Shear is tops!

I have a long history of dental issues going back to a broken cheek bone as a teenager( some 20 years back). I've been having a lot of restoration work done over the last few years, and that included two recent periodontal procedures (November 2018 and February 2019). I talked to different periodontists in the Lehigh Valley, but ultimately felt most comfortable and confident with Dr. Shear. He is excellent, detailed and cares for his patients - plus he has a sharp wit and his staff could not be nicer- they're responsive prior to appointments and procedures, answering any questions you might have and follow up the day following the procedure just to see how you feel and if there is anything you need. I would and will recommend Dr. Shear above anyone else around.

Have been going to Dr. Shear for over 10 years and he and his staff have always been thoughtful, knowledgeable, helpful and professional which is why I keep coming back to his office.
